License terms
Last updated October 23, 2026
WordPress plugins sold on PluginLoom are free software under the GNU General Public License. What you pay for is the license key, which gives you downloads, updates and support.
The code is GPL
The PHP code of our WordPress plugins is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, the same license as WordPress. You may use, study, change and share it under the terms of the GPL. Images, styles and other assets are licensed under the GPL as well unless a file says otherwise.
What the license key gives you
- Downloads of the plugin from your account
- Automatic updates inside WordPress on activated sites
- Support from our team
These are available for the term you paid for, on up to the number of sites on your plan. A site is one WordPress install with its own home URL. A subdirectory install counts as its own site. Staging and local copies count as sites while the key is active on them; deactivate them when you finish testing.
When a license ends
If your license expires, is refunded or is revoked, the plugin keeps running on your sites. Updates, downloads and support stop. You can renew an expired license from your account.
Fair use of keys
Do not share or publish your license key. We may revoke a key that is published, resold or used beyond its plan, after telling you by email.
Names and trademarks
The GPL covers code, not names. PluginLoom and BankBridge are our names; please do not use them for a modified copy. Plaid, WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor, MemberPress and Shopify are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
